The Bururi nature reserve 500 m from the center covers an area of 3300 ha. It is located in the southern part of the Congo Nile Crete, a geographical area that crosses several countries of the great lakes. The fauna of the reserve is diversified and there are mainly antelopes, primates and several species of birds.
