Located on the heights of the city, Kiriri Campus is one of the oldest sites. Its architecture and observatory allow visitors to admire the city and surrounding hills. It is the former Saint-Esprit College, run by Jesuits until just after independence. The view from this place is one of the most beautiful in the city. The architecture of the church and sports facilities is noteworthy. The swimming pool and gymnasium, rich in history, were rehabilitated in 2008–2009 with support from the French Embassy. It is a historical, educational, and peaceful place appreciated by enthusiasts of architecture and the history of education in Burundi.
