Built in the 1950s, it is distinguished by its neo-Gothic architecture and colorful stained-glass windows. It hosts Masses, weddings, and choir concerts. This church is one of the earliest that inspired and shaped Christian faith in Burundi; attending Mass there was long considered a sign of authentic Catholic devotion.
