Located a few kms from the chief place of the Rumonge province, the thermal waters of Mugara come from a source known as Mashuha, which literally means “hot waters” in Kirundi. This hot water source, rich in minerals, is renowned for its therapeutic virtues and attracts many visitors in search of well-being. The water springs naturally at a high temperature, offering soothing properties, especially for muscle and joint pain, as well as for general relaxation.
