Mugamba is a natural region crossing Burundi from North to South, characterized by high altitudes, with peaks such as Mount Heha (2670 m), to be verified, and Mount Kavumu (2636 m)
The Mugamba region, like some other rural areas in Burundi, still houses traditional houses which are a testimony of ancestral know-how. These dwellings are round with a straw roof that promotes natural ventillation, with internal temperature regulation by maintaining the heat during cool nights and offering coolness during the hot season.
